Sapients of Known Space

A comparative drawing of the sizes of the sapients of Known Space, sort of a "happy family" shot. They are, from right to left: a Tripod, a Shojin, a Human, a Hammerhead, a Qiqiu and (in the water) a Starwhale.

This is a Tripod, naked, though holding a tool in one of its combs, if I'm not mistaken.

This is a Hammerhead (the Ambassador to the ISC, making a toast of steprose bone).

This is a Qiqiu.

This is a Starwhale.
