Dead in Space
This is a military transport ship, sitting still (possibly avoiding emissions
to avoid enemy detection, or perhaps because it's truly adrift and dead).
You can tell it's a military ship because of the very dull paint job --
miliatry ships have to be nearly dead-black to avoid reflecting light and
thus being detectable by other ships. It's a transport because it
has a fairly large spin section and cargo section, but no weapons ring.
You can tell it's sitting still because it isn't surrounded in distorted
light, which K-D drives cause.
This is the first image I've put up here which I've made with Bryce
4. It's obviously a pretty amateurish piece -- the framework
on the fuel bulbs is quite disorderly, and there are various other errors
which I won't mention out of embarrassment.
