My Mandarin
Syllabary ¹Å ¶² ªº ¤¤ ¤å µü ¶×
Presented here is a large part
of the
Taiwanese Mandarin vocabulary
which I've learned since I first came to Taiwan (in 1996, I think).
The syllabary itself is pretty extensive, so it's divided into sections.
I have only entered a little of the complete syllabary so far, and it will
take a long time for me to enter the entire thing. Please be patient.
If you want to learn the characters, it will require a browser equipped to read Big5-encoded Chinese, I think. I'm trying to make it readbale by any browser, but that will take a while, too.
There is, at present, no way for me to represent Chinese tones with diacritical marks. Therefore, I have used numerical notation to note the four major tones. Thus, "ni2 jia1wen2" is ni in second tone, jia is first and wen in second.
If you have any comments or corrections to offer about this page, please write to me.
In any case, the syllabary is divided into sections, as presented below.
